we usually use the take out area. the service is only fair. each time we pick-up the pizza it is usually done differently. some good some bad. coupons can be used but when calling they won't deduct but redue bill when you pick -up your order. i don't like this. they could just make sure coupons are ok when you do your pick-up.

My husband and I have tried DeMarinis three times and each has been a complete disappointment. The first time our pizza dough was slimy raw. The waitress apologized, did NOT offer a new one, and charged us full price. The second time, our 7yo daughter ordered popcorn chicken. She took one bite and almost spit it out, because it was so spicy. Again, the waitress apologized for not telling her it was spicy, did NOT offer her a different meal, and charged full price. Finally, we stopped with friends for a couple drinks (no food!). When my husband & I received our $50+ tab, we were shocked! Vodka lemonades were $7.25 each. We immediately questioned the bartender and she became extremely defensive. One friend suggested the bartender buy my husband & I a drink to make amends. Instead the bartender rudely commented, "I would have if you wouldn't have complained!" With a puzzled look on our faces (and a very small tip in the bartender's pocket), all 10 of us left and went down the street for better service. We will NOT give DeMarinis a fourth try!

I just ate here last night. I like to start out with the postives I loved the pizza! It was great, the only negative was that they don't use fresh mushrooms, they were canned, but we did get a lot of them. And the bicardi and diet was only $3.50 and made just right. For an appetizer we had the breaded mushrooms-delicious! The only negative is that the order was very small. Now for the bad...we had the worst service ever!! I am a server myself and usually understand if service isn't the greatest, but last night the service was so bad that I didn't even leave a tip, I couldn't, I was so mad. Our server seemed frazzled from the beginning, never looking at us or welcoming us as she took our drink order. Then after I finished my first drink, she never asked if I wanted another, my boyfriend had to go to the bar himself. When she brought the pizza she said "move all that stuff out of the way" talking about my empty drink glass and empty appetizer basket. What? I would never say that to a table. And shouldn't she have taken that off of our table before bringing out the pizza? There were no red pepper flakes on the table-no biggie, so I had to flag down a little bus girl-they were the nicest ones there. Then I had to stop another server to wrap up our leftover. Then our server just threw the wrapped up pizza and bill on the table. She never asked how our food was, never said thank you or good bye, nothing. She was the poster child-or should I say poster senior that should not be in that line of work. She was by far the rudest waitress I have come across ever. I do plan on going back because I liked the old comfortable atmosphere and the pizza was great, but I sure hope next time we have a different server.

I don't like negative reviews. Most of the time the person writing the review has only dined at the restaurant once and had a bad experience. Odds are that the restaurant is normally good, but the reviewer had an isolated negative experience. It happens to the best and worst restaurants alike. However... I've eaten at De Marini's several times hoping that with every new attempt, it would get better. It hasn't. First of all, I would be embarrassed to bring an Italian friend here. The pizza and pasta sauce was basically canned tomato paste. It was truthfully disgusting. The prices for the nasty food were terrible. And the wait staff and management are not appriciative of your business at all. The one redeeming thing is their halfbaked cookie and ice cream dessert. If you ate dinner somewhere else and wanted a good dessert, it would not be the worst thing to pop into De Marini's for it. Just know that they take 10+ minutes to make. (not a huge deal) And the worst thing about De Marinis: no free refills on soda! I recently made a decision to never bring return business to a restaurant which doesn't give free refills on sodas. I think it is a testament to the kind of business they are running... cheap.
